Gemnye LLC

About Gemnye

At Gemnye we think pets deserve the same comfort and care we expect for ourselves. We start with thoughtfully designed products that make everyday life with a pet easier and more enjoyable.

Our dog car seat is built around a simple idea: a dog should travel comfortably, in one place, on the back seat. Supportive cushioning, a raised front, a belt path through the shell, and a harness point that takes your dog's own tether. It keeps a small or medium dog contained and at window height, out of the footwell and off the driver — which is where the peace of mind on a long drive actually comes from.

Gemnye focuses on products that balance comfort, quality and thoughtful design. As we grow, our goal is a trusted brand offering practical products that fit naturally into modern life with pets.

Comfort, design and safety

Comfort
A reversible cushion raised clear of the bench, high quilted sides to lean against, and a defined space instead of an open seat. Dogs settle faster on a surface with an edge they can feel than on a flat bench, and that is most of what the shape is for.
Design
Its own mould, specified with the manufacturer over roughly a year and not shared with other brands. Named materials rather than adjectives. Dutch ultrasoft velvet, water-resistant. High-density resilience sponge. A canopy that comes off. The specification is published in full, including the fields we are still waiting on.
Safety
Two things, and only two. It contains: the sides and the raised front lip keep a dog out of the footwell and off the driver, and the harness point channel takes the dog's own tether. It elevates: enough lift to put a dog at window height rather than facing the back of a seat. Everything else in this category is a claim we do not make.

It is a containment and comfort seat, not a crash restraint. It holds no independent certification, and no booster seat of this type holds one. What this seat is, what it is not, and why a tested harness belongs alongside it — with sources.
